YBA Basketball
Character Development Values of Caring, Honesty, Respect & Responsibility will be emphasized through coaches and director
interaction during practice and games.
Participants will be placed on teams according to skill level, age & size.
Separate leagues for boys & girls will be formed
if participant level warrants.
Save on fees by registering early before October 20th.
Pre-K thru 2nd Grade
Practices will begin Nov. 10th
Games begin Saturday, January 3rd
Games played in the main gym
Pre K and kindergarten use 6-foot baskets
1st and 2nd Grade use 8-foot baskets

3rd thru 6th Grade
A skill evaluation will be held at the YMCA on Saturday, November 1st for all 3rd - 6th Grade Basketball Players
Practice will begin the week of Nov. 10th.
Games begin on Sat. Dec. 15th in the Cowan Gym
3rd / 4th Boys and Girls 9:00 - 10:00 a.m.
5th / 6th Boys and Girls 10:00 - 11:00 a.m.

Fast Break Basketball
Who can play? Any boy or girl in 4th - 6th grades.
NO TRYOUTS! Everyone will make the Team!
Separate teams for boys and girls will be developed, as well as separate grade levels.
Home and away games will be played on Saturday afternoons/evenings or Sunday afternoons.
Home games played in the Main Gym
Teams will practice weekly at the YMCA, in addition to regular YBA practices.
To be eligible to play, you must also be a paid participant in the regular YBA league!
Players jerseys will be provided by the YMCA.
Practices will begin October 27th (Players must be enrolled in the regular YBA Progam also).

YBA and "Fast Break" Registration Dates:
Saturday, Octber 4th 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Tuesday, October 7th 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
An extra fee of $10 will be assessed starting October 21st.
An organizational meeting for interested YBA coaches will be held Tuesday, September 30th at 7 p.m.

YBA Skill Builders Program
A 4-week instructional program designed to develop basic basketball fundamentals
1st and 2nd Grade: 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. Oct. 6, 13, 20, 27
3rd and 6th Grade: 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. Oct. 7, 14, 21, 28
