Afterschool Program

TUMBLING AND TRAMPOLINE CLASSES

All classes are held on Wednesdays. Classes are 45 minutes for preschool age and 60 minutes for school age.

Preschool
Basic tumbling and tramp skills for ages 3-5. Classes are 45 minutes long. Student to teacher ratio is a maximum of 4:1 for maximum fun!

Tuesday 5:00 pm

Beginner and Advanced Beginner

Basic tumbling skills and limbering skills: front and back rolls, cartwheels, round offs and limbering skills. Plus learn bsic trampoline skills.

Tuesday 6:00 pm

Novice/Intermediate

Learn and work on front and back handsprings and introduction to aerial skills. Plus learn basic trampoline skills.

Tutesday

4:15 pm

Fees: Members: $27, 2nd child: $19

Program Members: $48, 2nd child: $32

  • Leagues formed for age groups Under 5, Under 7, Under 10 & Under 13 (No 7th grade).
  • Sign up day - Sat. Jun. 24, 10 am -12 pm,
  • Farmington YMCA Program Center
  • Coaches Meeting Tues., Aug. 1, 6 pm in Canton.
  • Practice begins Aug. 7 at Elmwood Community Center & Farmington Jacob’s Park
  • Games held Aug. 26 - Oct. 28; No games Sept 16.
  • Sign up deadline Sunday, Aug 6

FARMINGTON AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAM

School Age Center
Before & After School Care

Held onsite at the Farmington Elementary School.
Before school care held 6:30-8 am & after school care held school dismissal until 6 pm, Monday – Friday for
kids in Kindergarten – 6th grade. Flexible scheduling: you choose the days your child attends, and only pay
for those days. YMCA financial assistance is available and Child Care Connection is accepted as well. Caring
staff lead children in:
• Homework assistance
• Enrichment activities
• Large & small group games
• Outdoor play
• Gym time
• Reading club
• Arts & crafts
• New! HEPA (Healthy Eating and Physical Activity Standards) for snacks and fitness activities
• Fun SPARK and CATCH games to keep kids moving!
